Oracle Financial Consultant (Functional)

  • opening with a BILLION USD turnover chain of retail outlet in UAE***

·         Main responsibility is to provide hands on support and maintenance of Oracle 11i Finance modules such as AP, AR, FA, CM, GL, Expenses and Receivables in a multinational company. You will also be involved in the delivery of Oracle project implementations in various regions, align with the SATO Global Business Process Standardization and corporate policies governance and statutory.
·         Techno Functional Resource who would be part of the Finance team and would be liasing between Finance and IT.
·         Detailed understanding of financial principles and concepts.
·         Should have experience  in project planning and implementation – Setup, data mapping, data extraction, transformation and loading, software testing, moving application to Production Instance and release management for development
·         Should understand the concepts of  Consolidation, Ledger Reporting and Forecasting in Oracle Financials and should be apt in extracting data and running customized reporting for the Finance team
·         Should have skills of co-ordinate with various department s especially IT and have detailed requirement in place.
·         Should coordinate with the support vendor to ensure that timely SLAs are met and business priorities are not compromised.
·         Has previous experience of minimum 4 years of being part of an Oracle Implementation (Release 12 and before).
·         Understands the complete modules of Oracle Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA, and CM).
·         Apt in providing Oracle training capabilities and as well documenting finance needs and requirements.
·         Should manage the Oracle Metalink and ensure that Oracle bugs are communicated and patches are identified and implemented
·         Having experience with Oracle Financial Upgrades would be an added advantage
·         Education should from a Financial background will be an added advantage
