Key Responsibilities:
·  Gained hands on experience in global procurement and managing vendors from Europe, Africa, Middle East & Asia and responsible for managing 35 vendors of more than 3000 SKUs.
·  Demand Planning based on the lead time and agreed stock days in OIP (order inventory planning) by using various Forecasting Techniques (Statistical & Judgmental) whilst considering various factors like product seasonality, inventory carrying cost etc... To ensure the availability of the right products at the right time.
·  Managed a C&F (Clearing & Forwarding) Team & Prioritizing Containers at port based on products nature, stock requirements, and warehouse space availability without paying any Demurrages.
·  Responsible for on time delivery of products by prioritizing & exploiting the constraints based on the sales requirements & addressing the supplier issues.
·  Proactively predicting the supplier`s inventory health projections through continuous interaction; based on that re-scheduling the PO, leveraging on the volume discounts, supplier consolidation, expediting the transportation by managing under the allocated working capital.
·  Responsible for the vendor managed inventory in our warehouse.
·  Supply Chain Network Optimization for Road Shipments across various satellite warehouses.
·  Planning & forecasting for Promotions with sales & Trade Marketing team by taking into account supplier budgets, competitor activities, and obsoleting of existing stocks.
·  Containerizing the Weekly Stock Replenishment for satellite warehouses by following techniques like Cross-Docking to ensure the logistics cost to be economical.
·  Focusing on obtaining the Strategic Fit between Efficiency and Responsiveness throughout the value chain.
·  Developing the Pricing Structures considering the shipments terms agreed with supplier.
·  Monitoring the Excess stocks, Ageing stocks & short expiry and closely working with the sales, trade-marketing, finance, logistics to liquidate the same for better inventory management system.
·  Part of PST (Principle stock count team), supervising the entire stock count procedure and suggest various measures to improve the process and reduce the percentage variance.
Reports:
·  Stock Management Report which helps in measuring the Forecast Accuracy, Non Performing Skus, Excess Stocks, Ageing & Short Expiry of Stocks.
·  Forward Stock Cover which helps in maintaining the optimum inventory level and managing its working capital effectively and efficiently.
