JOB LOCATION - DUBAI

*to be in constant touch with the changing local and International scenarios and derive suggestions for enhancing performance of the co.

• Work hands on with the system to configure it and test it to ensure that it meets the business requirements. This will include areas such as setup of market data, including zero curves, probability curves, correlation matrices, dividend curves, etc., and the underlying financial instruments that drive the generation of those curves. This will also include the setup of pricing parameters and trade capture options that drive the valuation of trades based on the market data. And it will also include the configuration of rules-based scenarios for capturing market and credit risk, general multi-factor sensitivity analyses, and PnL. 

• identifying functional gaps and to create detailed functional specifications for the gaps, 

• During the development of enhancements, the business analyst will work with either the Cos core development team to iteratively test enhancements to ensure they will meet business requirements. 

• Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc. 

• Manage issues and track timeline of development deliverable, and keep the Co informed of progress. Additionally, the business analyst will assist Co with the development of their own internal project plan, including identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, and resource requirements. 

• Act as a conduct between technology and business and drive the overall implementation of core technology solutions
  
  
• Collect, understand, analyze and document business processes and obtain sign-off from the client on specifications
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and detailed test plans
• Design test scenarios and scripts and manage and conduct user acceptance testing for new processes and implementations
• Manage day-to-day change requests in relation to project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
• Develop system implementation documentation including but not limited to system requirements, use cases, test scenarios and test cases, user guides, FAQ’s, etc.
• Identify issues, risks and dependencies between projects and processes and escalate as appropriate
• Assist other staff in developing business analysis skills
• Manage and maintain requirements traceability, perform impact analysis when changes are requested
• Assist business users with user acceptance testing
• Experience in the Ratings, Capital markets and Consulting, Fincad will an added advantage
