·         should prepare and monitor barchart to schedule the work on site.
·         should push contractors to ensure work is executed according to the barchart.
·         should monitor and ensure quality work.
·         should completely supervise all construction activities on the site.
·         should manage the contractors on site.
·         should coordinate amongst various contractors.
·         should coordinate with the architects and consultants for drawings and specific site requirements.
·         should prepare material indents.
·         should control the cost on site.
·         should prepare daily construction report.
·         should thoroughly review of contractor/supplier’s payment bills.
·         should reconcile material and labor bills.
·         should suggest ‘value engineering’ ideas during execution of work.
·         should control the material wastage on site.
·         should conduct weekly meeting with the owner and contractors.
